Middlebrook Farm | Greenfield, MN

Frequently Asked Questions
Are your berries chemical free?
The short answer is no, but that doesn't mean we are applying chemicals right and left. It's important to us to protect Mother Nature as much as we can. We do not spray our plants with any pesticides ever and only apply strawberry-safe herbicides long before the plants fruit and after the picking season is over. During wetter summers, we have had issues with slugs and in those years we sprinkle an iron phosphate pellet mix around the berry plants to protect them. But for the most part, we try to keep the berry patches clean and weed-free without chemicals and instead use recycled plastic sheeting and layers of wheat straw.
How long does it take to get my strawberry order?
Unfortunately, we are no longer able to deliver strawberries. However, the roadside stand is stocked daily during strawberry season so please stop by!
What payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check, or Venmo @middlebrookfarm.
May I visit the farm?
Unfortunately we are not set up to be open to the public. We are a small operation and do not have a public parking lot or public lavatories. But the roadside stand is always open!
